65 Current Mom Blogs That Openly Accept FREE Guest Post Submissions

In my last post, I talked about the new opensource data mining software I was using to crawl the web to build online resources.  There’s so much great info out there to build an endless supply of free resources for family-friendly site owners and bloggers.  Speaking of, I’ve always wanted to put together a totally free and organized guest posting guide for new Mom bloggers who’re looking to grow their network.  Guest posting is a great way to reach that targeted audience, but combing through the web looking for the most accessible opportunities can be a major drag.

I’d rather writers focus on creating amazing content for the web and leave the web surfing to me!  This is what I love to do and it’s been so much fun putting together this list of Mom blog guest posting opportunities.  I was inspired by other helpful lists on the web and wanted to expand on them, but instead thoroughly hone it on a particular niche, including only the most active blogs that openly accept submissions.

Along with networking, this is also a great way for writers to market their blog naturally through great content, plus accepting and post high-quality guests posts keeps an active blog fresh year-round.

Note:  Guest post submission never guarantees publishing.  Don’t flood these bloggers’ inboxes with really terrible, spammy, SEO keyword stuffed, duplicate posts.  Always read a blogger’s guest post guidelines thoroughly to ensure you have the best chances of being published.  I will continue to monitor this list to ensure that it’s updated, and please feel free to add to this list in the comments below!

Data Collection Software and Blogging: Finding New Guest Posting Opportunities In 2014

It’s great to reach out and guest post on quality blogs that already have the attention of a particular targeted audience.  Plus it’s fun!  I watch Matt Cutts’ videos too, and I remember that particular one that sent an alleged panic through the SEO marketing world.  But Cutts didn’t say guest posting was done, but spammy, keyword-stuffed guest posting was definitely given strict notice.

Because of the onslaught of really, really bad guest posting requests, some bloggers have stopped taking unsolicited guest blogging submissions altogether.  While others have added more strict guest post guidelines, ensuring that only the most relevant, original guest posts are submitted.  But there are still tons of active bloggers with High PR and DA sites that accept quality guest posts, even with far more laid-back submission rules.

How do I know?  I put in the work!  It’s been an ongoing process.  Scroll down to learn a little about my love for creating online resources and data collection.

When done the right way, writers who’re motivated to create original, well-written, useful, and relevant blog posts can naturally benefit from today’s free guest posting opportunities.  That’s why it’s extremely important to read a blogger’s guest post guidelines before sitting down to write and submit a high-quality post too.

All in all, guest posting still remains one of the best ways for a blogger to gain exposure and grow readership.  And submitting guest posts to niche-appropriate blogs that openly accept submissions is also a fantastic FREE way to market and organically boost SEO in the most panda/penguin friendly way.

So where does data collection fit into all this?

I’ve been addicted to Import.io lately, an opensource data mining, data collection and web scraping software in the cloud.  It’s so ridiculously user-friendly (once you go through the video tutorials!)  Plus all the coding is built in which is great, so I don’t have manually build tools or use more complicated or paid-for tools to scrape the web.  In this sense, It’s basically web searching on steroids.

And data collection can be used for nearly everything; business owners use data collection and mining to analyse consumer buying patterns, while I use data collection tools create in-depth resource guides and digital archiving.

One of my hobbies is creating free online resources for fellow content creators; bloggers, social media marketers, graphic designers, etc.  I do visual merchandising, toy sales, online marketing, and run a web store for a Mom n’ Pop business by day, so In my free time I love creating and sharing content that can help others pull out of writers and artists’ block, take the time out of looking for current guest posting opps, discover creative online marketing tools, or even try a new hobby.

I wanted to create a list of active Mom blogs that currently and openly accept guest post submissions, but There are so many Mom bloggers out there that it would take eons to manually search through lists like topmommyblogs, family-friendly directories, and Google Search.  Using Import.io, I essentially “train” a program to understand and execute my searching behavior.  I’m super eager to post the first part of my Free Mom Blog Guest Posting Resource as soon as possible, but I’ll be posting a more in-depth guide on how to use this software later on.

Coming up:  Part 1 of my Epic List of Current Mom Blogs That Are Currently Accepting Guest Blog Post Submissions.  Whoo Hoo!
